I really hate writing these types of journal, but I'm getting tired of being spammed for absolutely no reason.
A few months back TeamShikaIno (teamshikaino.deviantart.com/jo…) informed me of an art thief who pretty much went through dA and reposted a bunch of popular artist's Homestuck art. I along with many other deviants nicely asked them to remove the stolen art, as it does not belong to them, but they haven't done so and don't intend to. They think all the stealing makes them more popular and "cooler".
Since they initially joined and stole a bunch of art, they haven't haven't continued to steal. They've actually started posting some of their own art, which is awesome, but they won't remove the stolen art and have started trolling/spamming the people who originally reported them for theft..... and I personally am getting tired of it.

Below is a list of all the art Vriskaz has stolen. I would really appreciate you reporting them for their theft, as well as supporting the amazingly talented artists who have had there work stolen.

This picture is also stolen <da:thumb id="387269250"/> but she claims it is a picture of herself. It's not. After some googleing I found out that this a picture of a 27 year old American pornographic actress/model called "Soya", who does not have a DeviantArt account. While I can't find the original version of the picture, I can assure it's not a picture of her. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stoya

A lot of you probably remember the online outrage over the 'Stop Online Piracy Act' (SOPA) copyright enforcement proposal that happened in 2012. Last week, the Department of Commerce's Internet Policy Task Force released a report on digital copyright policy that endorsed one piece of the controversial proposal: making the streaming of copyrighted works a felony.

As it stands now, streaming a copyrighted work over the Internet is considered a violation of the public performance right. The violation is only punishable as a misdemeanor, rather than the felony charges that accompany the reproduction and distribution of copyrighted material. SOPA is currently attempting to change this in Section 201, aptly titled "Streaming of copyrighted works in violation of criminal law." If this new law passes, it will have criminalized covers of songs shared on Youtube, any type video game play through/walk through, any gameing-related content in general. This stuff will also apply to DeviantArt, so any fan character you have online could b completely erased and BANNED to the public and the internet. And if that wasn't bad enough, DeviantART will most likely be shut down for good if this bill passes At the very least, they'll have to ban a majority of the users because of the new laws. I'm not sure about you, but I've worked hard on my characters and my art, and I don't want to loose anything to an idiotic bill.

This bill passes in September, which is in eight days. This bill will effect people world wide, so if you enjoy your OCs, DeviantArt, and/or Youtube, I would highly suggest that you sigh  this petition:
petitions.whitehouse.gov/petit…. In the time it took me to write this journal (well under threee minuets) two thousand more people have signed, so there is a good chance we can beat this. So please, just spread the news and tell as many people as you can! If dedicated nearly the past two years to DeviantArt, and I don't want to lose all of the friends I've made here over something that shouldn't effect us in the first place.

EDIT: On the upside, I've been informed that the real deadline for the bill is September 21, so you all have a bit less than a month to sign the petition!

Hello everyone!

As some of you may of noticed, I've had my commissions closed for the past few months. Until about a week or two ago I'd been struggling with an art block and I had just completely lost interest in doing digital art. Luck for me, I think I've gotten over all that, and only sketching so much for so long I think has really improved my anatomy skills.

I still need to keep practicing and I want to get back into digital art, so starting this weekend I'm going to reopen my commission with new options, formatting, rules, and prices. I'm still working on typing everything up, but I have a vague idea of how I want everything look.

I also want to do a kiriban, I've tried doing a couple in the past but they never got caught
My next kiriban will be at 6,500 page views, which is about 200 page views away and whoever gets a screenshot closets to the kiriban will win two detailed chibis from me.... or something along the lines of that if they'd prefer to get something else.

Hey everyone! As some of you may have noticed, i haven't done a big set of adoptables in awhile and I'm really starting to miss designing characters. Since I haven't had much inspiration lately, I figured doing a few customs would be a good way to ease back into designing! And since I also want to get a little more practice with my anatomy, for every custom I do I'll also include a simple reference sheet of that character, free of charge!

The customs themselves will cost 50 a piece (normally they're 80 ) and will be drawn traditionally with a fine tip sharpie ink pen. Upon request, I'll a digital color palette on separate psd file for how I'd recommend the character to be colored. On the reference sheet will be one full body front veiw, a full body side veiw both made on original bases), at least one headshot, and a close-up of whatever accessories they carry (more will be added to properly depict each individual character). For now, I'll only be doing female characters from the Naruto-verse.

    Colors: If you have any specific palettes/colors in mind, link them here. If you want say the hair a specific color then be sure to put that here too. (You can just say hair brown, eyes blue, ect. if you don't feel like finding a palette for me.)
    Clothing Style: (I'll be willing to try anything at least once, this would be where you put whatever era your adoptable will be based, be sure to also mention if they should from a certain village or clan! Or if they're not a shinobi be sure to mention there occupation.)
